As part of the program’s curriculum, each year Leadership participants create a class project designed to enhance some aspect of the community. .

The Class of 2009 is concentrating on the HEROES Project, a public awareness campaign that provides greater recognition to those who make a difference in youth’s lives. Through contests, posters, and the media, they hope to build a community where positive actions are acknowledged.
